Description
Bonn, Germany, year 1776. Night is falling, and in the cellar of the Beethoven household two bored old toys are about to start playing, when suddenly little Ludwig bursts into the cellar, dragged by his father Johann. Left alone and forced to play the piano, little Ludwig improvises four simple but famous notes (ta-ta-taaa) on the keyboard, which magically coax the two toys out of their hiding place. Thus begins an adventurous journey through the Fifth Symphony that will lead the future composer to realize, with the help of the toys, that his love of music can take him very far.
Inspired by Beethoven's real life story, the show features muscal highlights performed by the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, conducted by Enrico Lombardi, alternated with acting scenes, clowning and dancing. A participatory show that leads young spectators to discover Beethoven's masterpiece, amid laughter and cheers.
Concert organized by the Haydn Foundation of Bolzano and Trento in collaboration with the Centro Santa Chiara
