The 2026/27 season stands out for its balance between tradition and contemporaneity, pairing two cornerstones of the repertoire—La clemenza di Tito by Mozart and La bohème by Puccini—with two contemporary operas: Anna A. by Silvia Colasanti, with a libretto by Paolo Nori, and Cronaca di un amore. Callas e Pasolini by Davide Tramontano, awarded the 2026 “Una vita nella musica” Prize by Teatro La Fenice in Venice, with a libretto by Alberto Mattioli. It is a journey designed to strengthen dialogue with audiences through universal themes expressed in a variety of musical languages.
“In all the selected titles, stories of power, love, and peace intertwine,” emphasizes Artistic Director André Comploi, “deeply human elements capable of triggering processes of recognition and reflection, whose interplay forms the dramaturgical core of the season.”
