The Haydn Foundation of Bolzano and Trento is one of the most prestigious artistic institutions in the region of Trentino-South Tyrol. Born out of the Haydn Orchestra, the Foundation promotes high-quality music culture by offering audiences unique and thrilling experiences. Our activities encompass symphony concerts, acclaimed at the national and international level; the opera programme, which is attentive to current world developments; and the Bolzano Danza Festival, one of Italy’s leading contemporary dance festivals.
We are an artistic innovation centre at the service of our community. We see music, opera and dance as opportunities for personal and social growth, an ongoing exchange between the Italian, German and wider European cultures. We organise performances locally in collaboration with institutional and private partners, develop the Haydn&Education pedagogical programme and employ digital media to foster an open, stimulating community.
