Mythologies

Mythologies is the first composition for orchestra by Thomas Bangalter, co-founder of the legendary duo Daft Punk. An expansive and lyrical work - in which Bangalter reinvents his relationship with composition after years spent playing and recording with the famous electro-duo - Mythologies was completed in 2022 in collaboration with choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, author of the omonimous dance piece, presented last year at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. No computers or synthesisers: just the skillful hands of the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, under the baton of Lee Reynolds, will perform the Italian premiere of the performance in concert form. A journey into classical and modern mythology.
